HC Deb 12 April 1956 vol 551 cc24-5W
17. Mr. Gooch

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is aware of the concern felt by the residents of Cley-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, at his decision to defer the carrying out of the sea defence scheme by the East Suffolk and Norfolk River Board; and, in view of the continued risk of flooding at Cley, if he will now allow the scheme to proceed.

Mr. Amory

The hon. Member will be pleased to hear that authority has been given for work to proceed.
