asked the Minister of Education whether he is aware that the Northamptonshire County Council's scale on which the assessment for free meals is made is such that, even where a parent or parents is in receipt of National Assistance, a payment for the school meals of the child or children still has to be made; and whether he will give sanction to the Northamptonshire County Council for the scale of assessment to be revised.
