StuartWith this object in view, my Department now ask local authorities to give publicity to slum clearance proposals approved under the Housing (Repairs and Rents) (Scotland) Act, 1954, and from recent inquiries which I have made, I am satisfied that local authorities readily give advice to prospective purchasers who are in doubt on the matter.
