§ 90. Mr. Sorensenasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies, in view of the shortage of doctors in Malaya, what further efforts are being made to recruit doctors from the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThere are only seven current vacancies which I have been asked to fill in the Medical Department of the Federation of Malaya. They are for three Radiologists and four Health Officers. There is a shortage of doctors in these specialities in this country as well as overseas. The posts are being persistently advertised.
