Mr. Woodburnasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what action he is proposing to take as a result of the report, to which his attention has been called, of psychologists into the relative progress of pupils in the Scottish and English schools and especially into the possible defects in the education of Scottish children, between 8 and 11 years of age.
