Hendersonasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will instruct Her Majesty's Government's representative on the Security Council to support the proposal of the Government of India for the establishment of an international commission to 168W study and report on the effects of nuclear radiation; and whether he will make a statement.
§ Mr. TurtonThe United Kingdom Delegation co-sponsored a Resolution in the Political Committee of the United Nations General Assembly calling for the establishment of a Scientific Committee to receive, collate, evaluate and publish information on radiation levels and on the effect of radiation on man and his environment. This Resolution was unanimously adopted on 7th November.
