§ Mr. Boyd CarpenterYes; an application for grant and detailed plans for a new bridge and road approaches at Kirkfieldbank were received on 26th October, 1955. These are being examined in my Department and if they are in order a grant will be issued to Lanark County Council in the near future. I expect the work to start next spring.
