HC Deb 24 November 1955 vol 546 c144W
Dr. King

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will include in his pensions increase proposals for retired State and local government servants, not only those who have benefited by previous Pensions (Increase) Acts but also other retired servants of the State who, technically, may not have been civil servants, such as ex-members of judicial or other similar services.

Mr. H. Brooke

This will be borne in mind in the preparation of the detailed proposals to which I referred on 17th November, in reply to my hon. Friend the Member for Tynemouth (Dame Irene Ward) and my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Poole (Captain Pilkington).
