HC Deb 24 November 1955 vol 546 c133W
1. Mr. Shepherd

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he is fully satisfied that the six months' quarantine for animals is an inescapable necessity in view of the progress in medicine; and whether he will consider whether alterations can be made.

Mr. Amory

I assume that my hon. Friend has in mind the quarantine of imported dogs and cats. I would refer him to the answer I gave to my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Lewes (Major Beamish) on 10th November.
