HC Deb 21 November 1955 vol 546 cc73-4W
63. Mr. Hale

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance whether he is aware that a great many sufferers from byssinosis are still excluded from industrial injury benefit; and whether he will now consider the introduction of regulations to provide benefits for all genuine sufferers from industrial disease.

Mr. Peake

The provision made for byssinosis under the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Acts is at present under consideration by the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council.
