§ 64. Mr. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he is aware that Egypt is being supplied with British Vampire jets from an Italian firm manufacturing them under licence; what similar licences have been granted to other countries or manufacturers in other countries; and what precautions were taken, or are to be taken, so as to prevent the sale of jets manufactured under such licences from nullifying the Tripartite Declaration of 1950.
§ Mr. TurtonThe Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has publicly denied that there is any current contract for the delivery of jet fighters to Egypt by Italian firms. The other parts of the Question, in consequence, do not arise.
