HC Deb 09 November 1955 vol 545 c201W
Mr. Pryde

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is aware of the urgent need in the Dalkeith area in Midlothian for a general hospital; and what steps he will take to remedy the situation.

Mr. J. Stuart

This area is served by hospitals in Edinburgh where a full range of treatment facilities is available, and I am afraid that I cannot hold out any prospect of the provision of a hospital in the near future.
