asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will give the figures taken at the last census of vehicles passing between Darlington and Durham on the A1 road.

In August, 1954, the average daily number of vehicles passing the three census points on A1 between Darlington and Durham was 6,417, 5,747 and 7,433, respectively.
