§ 95. Mr. G. Jegerasked the Minister of Health what financial saving is effected by his cancellation of the scheme for sending tubercular patients to Swiss sanatoria for treatment under the National Health Service.
§ Mr. Iain MacleodThe Swiss scheme cost about £100,000 a year, which had to be found in foreign currency. The cost of158W treating an equivalent number of patients in sanatoria in this country would be about £75,000.
