57. Mr. Brockway

asked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury in which branches of the public service non-contributory pensions or non-contributory superannuation payments are given.

In the Civil Service and certain bodies closely related to it, in the Foreign Service and in the Armed Forces. Pensions for dependants however are contributory, except in the Armed Forces.
