Mr. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he has now succeeded in obtaining the withdrawal of restrictions imposed by the Government of Iraq upon British travellers by air in consequence of their Jewish faith; and if, in view of our accession to the Turco-Iraqi Treaty, he will make a new representation to Iraq in this respect.
§ Lord John HopeI can add nothing to what my right hon. Friend told the House on 25th October, 1954. The Government of Iraq are well aware of our view on this matter, and we shall continue to represent it to them.
