Sir G. Lloydasked the Financial Secretary to the Treasury to give an estimate on the basis of Schedule A valuation of the capital value of all the house property in Great Britain and of that part of it which is rent controlled.
§ Mr. H. BrookeI regret that I can make no such estimate, and I think that in any event an estimate on the basis suggested would, indeed, be of little value.
