§ Mr. HeadI would like to take this opportunity of making it plain that any National Service officer who does not possess any other dress is entitled to dine in battledress; and the lack of mess kit, No. 1 Dress or Service dress need cause no embarrassment. An existing Army Council Instruction makes this clear, and I am having the rules brought once again to the notice of commanding officers.
