§ Dr. Strossasked the Minister of Labour what evidence he has submitted to the Royal Commission on the Civil Service on the present scales of remuneration of the Factory Inspectorate.
§ Mr. WatkinsonThe Royal Commission are not charged with the task of examining the rates of pay of all classes in the Civil Service, but only those of the main categories. They are, however, asked to consider the principles which should govern Civil Service pay generally and their views will have a bearing on the pay of all classes including the Factory Inspectorate.
