§ 80. Mr. Willeyasked the Minister of Food, in view of the fact that the imports of meat for 1954 were 1,865,895 cwt. less than the imports of meat for the previous year, what action he is taking to increase the amount of meat imported.
Dr. HillNone. The prospect is that over the first year of freedom the public will eat as much meat per head as before the war, and about a quarter of a million tons more than in the last year under control.
