§ 65. Mr. Awberyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that when police appeals are made against the decisions of a magistrate's court the police obtain the assistance and advice of counsel; and if he will circularise all magistrates'courts reminding them that they also have the right to obtain the services of counsel if they consider it necessary in the preparation of their case.
§ Major Lloyd-GeorgeI have no reason to think that justices need any guidance on this matter, but if the hon. Member will let me know of any difficulties that have arisen I will gladly look into them.
