HC Deb 21 March 1955 vol 538 cc150-1W
51. Mr. Beswick

asked the Minister of Fuel and Power if he has considered the protests against his proposal to close the fuel office at West Drayton, and, in particular, the constructive alternative proposals made by the Yiewsley and West Drayton Urban District Council which are calculated to save expense and inconvenience to residents of that area who wish to visit a fuel office; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Geoffrey Lloyd

Yes. The proposal made by the Council is under consideration, and I will let the hon. Member know when I have reached a decision.
