82. Mr. Alport

asked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what form the training of officers for the external affairs service of the Gold Coast will take; and what assistance will be given by Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom in respect of this training.

Mr. Lennox-Boyd

The arrangements for training the nucleus of a Foreign Service are being considered by the Gold Coast Government. They know that Her Majesty's Government will be glad to help them.
