HC Deb 09 March 1955 vol 538 cc56-7W
115. Major Anstruther-Gray

asked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he can now name a date by which the improvement in the Forth ferry services, which he instructed the British Transport Commission to proceed with, will make itself felt.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

Neither my predecessor nor I gave or had power to give such instructions. But I am informed by the British Transport Commission that there is no reason to vary the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for Fife, West (Mr. Hamilton) on 21st February.
