§ 110. Mr. Stokesasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation the area of land already acquired for the Cromwell Road extension, Middlesex, the cost to date of its acquisition, and the probable total cost and area of land required for this extension.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterApproximately 13.6 acres have been acquired on the section in Middlesex and 23 acres in the area of the London County Council. The total cost of land acquisition to date is about £¾ million. The total area of land required is about 50 acres and its estimated total cost £2.2 million, including accommodation work and rehousing.
