§ 105. Sir E. Erringtonasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he is aware that in paragraph 26 of Command Paper No. 9092, relating to the retired pay and pensions of Forces officers, there is a mis-statement to the effect that the Report of the May Committee, Command Paper No. 3920, recommended the abandonment of the system under which the retired pay of Forces officers, retired under the 1919 arrangements, varied with the cost of living; and, in view of the May Committee's recommendation that the bringing into line of retired pay with the cost of living should be accelerated, whether he will publish an amending document.
