Lieut.-Colonel Bromley-Davenportasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, in view of the fact that five persons have been appointed as members of the Advisory Committee on the Protection of Birds on the grounds that they are ornithologists, what qualifications a person must possess to satisfy his Department that he can be described as an ornithologist.
§ Major Lloyd-GeorgeThe ornithologists on the Advisory Committee on the Protection of Birds for England and Wales were selected from persons nominated by the Nature Conservancy and the principal scientific bodies concerned with ornithology.
