§ 69. Mr. A. J. Irvineasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies how many lepers there are in Northern Rhodesia; how many cases requiring treatment are now receiving it; whether he has satisfied himself that the new leprosy camps established on a self-supporting basis will not deter would-be patients; and, since the economic value of wider treatment and cure would be greater than the amounts saved by these economy measures, if he will reconsider his policy.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydCare of lepers and treatment of leprosy is now the responsibility of the Federal Government.
