§ Mr. SandysI am informed that up to 14th February, 1955,Newcastle-upon-Tyne City Council had received 196 applications by tenants for certificates of disrepair. Of these 182 had been granted and none refused. Five had been withdrawn; the rest were still under con-298W sideration. Up to the same date, there had been four applications by landlords for the revocation of certificates of disrepair, upon the completion of the required repairs. Two of these had been granted and two were under consideration.
