§ Mr. SandysThe Cheshire County Council has before it an application to erect a factory which has been objected to by the Jodrell Bank Research Station. In view of the issues of national policy involved, the county council has asked54W me to call in this case under Section 15 of the Town and Country Planning Act, 1947, for decision by the Government. I have agreed to do so and am arranging for the necessary public inquiry to be held as soon as possible.
