§ Mr. Doddsasked the Minister of Education what action is to be taken to provide additional educational facilities for backward children in north-west Kent.
§ Mr. VosperBesides increasing their boarding accommodation, which serves the whole county, the authority are acquiring a property near Farningham which will be adapted for use as a boarding and day school for educationally subnormal children. They are also to open at St. Paul's Cray a day special school for children of this sort in premises now used by a primary school. In the meantime, in January next, two special classes will be started in Dartford; others will be provided as conditions in the ordinary schools become easier.
