§ 81. Mr. N. Nicolsonasked the Minister of Works his proposals with regard to the whitening of the ceiling and upper wall- 112W panels of the House of Commons Library in the manner already indicated in part of the Library's A Room.
§ 83. Dr. Strossasked the Minister of Works when he proposes to complete the repainting of the ceiling of the Library and the alterations to the curtains, so that Members may enjoy more natural light than has hitherto been available.
§ Mr. BirchNew light fittings are being designed for the Library, and the curtains will be altered. This should materially improve the lighting, and in the circumstances I think it would be wrong to alter the original decoration.
