§ Mr. HeadOwing to the special need of the Atomic Weapons Research Establishment and the great importance of the speedy development of atomic weapons92W to the Army, a small number of National Service soldiers with suitable scientific qualifications are being permitted, after completing their basic training, to volunteer for service with the Atomic Energy Authority. No extension of the scheme is intended at present.
