The Report, which sets out the Working Party's recommendations as to the arrangements to be made for Departmental costing in the hospital service, is being published today and copies are being made available at the Vote Office. I propose at once to consult hospital boards and the representative associations of hospital authorities, and to decide in the light of those consultations what further action to take. I should like to take this opportunity of expresing to all the members of the Working Party my deep appreciation of the detailed, careful and valuable study which they have carried out in a difficult and technical field.
