§ 88. Major Anstruther-Grayasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation whether he will improve the access roads to Turnhouse Aerodrome so that a speedy approach may be made from more than one direction.
§ Mr. Boyd-CarpenterFor the most part the approach roads to Turnhouse Aerodrome are good, but some improvement in the approach from Falkirk is required, and I am glad to inform my hon. and gallant Friend that an Order has already been published for a diversion of the Edinburgh-Falkirk Road which will shorten the approach from the Falkirk direction by nearly four miles.
