§ Sir W. MoncktonThe latest figures are for Great Britain. At the end of May, 1955, total civil employment was 22,850,000 and on 13th June, 1955, total unemployment was 211,000, or nearly 1 per cent. of civil employment. I have no reason to suppose that the situation will alter radically in the next twelve months.
