MoncktonOf the total working days lost in stoppages due to industrial disputes between the beginning of 1946 and the end of May, 1955, approximately 30 per cent. were lost in coal mining, 14 per cent. in the docks, 20 per cent. in engineering and shipbuilding, and 1 per cent. on the railways.
