§ 81. Mr. Edward Evansasked the Minister of Food the average weight of fish, excluding canned fish, consumed per head of the population for each of the years 1951, 1952, 1953, and 1954, respectively; and the values of the fish on first sales for the same period.
Dr. HillAverage consumption per head of fresh, frozen and cured fish in each of the years 1951 to 1954 was, respectively, 22.1, 20.8, 18.8, and 19.0 lb. The value of fish (excluding canned fish) on first sale in each of these years was, respectively, 57, 53, 49 and 51 million pounds sterling.
