§ Sir D. EcclesThe percentage of grammar school places is part of the larger problem of secondary education which I am now studying. When I am ready I shall give some guidance to local education authorities on this matter. I can reassure the hon. Lady that I shall examine very critically any proposals for absorbing grammar schools into comprehensive schools.
