§ 84. Sir W. Fletcherasked the Under-secretary of State for Commonwealth Relations whether he will now approach the Government of Ceylon with a request that they should waive in favour of the United Kingdom the export duty of 1s. 6d. per pound on tea, in view of the large sums which the United Kingdom has provided, and is providing, for the assistance of Ceylon and the other Colombo Powers.
