§ 94. Mr. E. L. Mallalieuasked the Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation if he will now give an assurance that Government objections to the construction by private enterprise of a Channel tunnel have been removed so that arrangements may be made by those concerned to set on foot the necessary investigations and prepare suitable plans in the light of recent scientific and technological developments relating to underwater tunnels of this character.
