Hudsonasked the Minister of Health to give the figures of legitimate and illegitimate births, respectively, in England and Wales for the years 1953 and 1954, specifying the numbers in respect of each year of age where the mother, at the time of maternity, was aged between 12 and 20 years, inclusive, and the total where the mother's age was 21 years and over.
