§ 90. Mr. J. Hyndasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies what reply has been sent by the Government of Northern Rhodesia to the protest of the African National Congress, dated 4th September, 1954, against the banning of Congress activities and dismissal of chiefs and civil servants associated with the Congress in various parts of the country.
§ Mr. Lennox-BoydThe Northern Rhodesia Government received a letter dated 8th (not 4th) September, 1954, from the Secretary-General of the Congress, and has acknowledged it. No other reply is considered necessary.
