HC Deb 04 February 1955 vol 536 cc163-4W
Mr. Snow

asked the Minister of Health whether he will call for a report on the completion vote of the Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield, with special reference to the additional maintenance plant installed.

Mr. Iain Macleod

I am not sure what the hon. Member has in mind, but I am in communication with the regional hospital board on a number of matters concerning the building scheme at this hospital.

Mr. Snow

asked the Minister of Health what sums have been authorised by his Department for the financial years 1949–50, 1950–51, 1951–52, 1952–53, 1953–54 and 1954–55 in respect of the provision of increased accommodation and beds for orthopaedic hospital patients in the Sutton Coldfield group and excluding the Good Hope Hospital.

Mr. Iain Macleod

None. Hospital accommodation for orthopaedic patients from this area is provided by hospitals outside this group.
