§ 52. Mr. Grimondasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what progress has been made in compiling the lists of houses of historic or architectural interest.
Commander GalbraithThe number of buildings of special architectural or historic interest provisionally listed under the Town and Country Planning Act, at 31st December, 1954, was 5,700 as compared with 4,500 at the end of 1953. The lists cover 13 large burghs, 65 small burghs and 202 landward parishes.
