Information received after printing which affects safe navigation is promulgated by Admiralty Notices to Mariners, which are issued periodically and are available on request without cost, to those who hold Admiralty charts. When the information is sufficiently important, it is promulgated by broadcast warning to mariners. Information which is not directly relevant to safe navigation is incorporated when charts are revised.
