§ Mr. Hamiltonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many protests, from individual teachers and from teachers' organisations respectively, he has received to date about the provisions of the Teachers (Superannuation) Bill; and how many individual teachers and organisations have intimated their general support of the Bill.
§ Mr. J. StuartProtests have been received from the E.I.S. and 9 other Scottish or local teachers' organisations, 46 groups of teachers in particular schools comprising 970 teachers, and 78 individual teachers.
No representation received has expressed complete approval of the Bill.
