§ 48. Mr. K. Thompsonasked the Prime Minister if he will give consideration to the salaries of Ministers and junior Ministers, following the increase in the salaries of senior civil servants recommended by the Royal Commission on the Civil Service.
§ The Prime MinisterI agree that the salaries of junior Ministers in particular require consideration: but I would not regard this as dependent on the recommendations just made by the Royal Commission on the Civil Service on the salaries of senior civil servants.
