§ 87. Mr. Jannerasked the Postmaster-General whether he will consider setting up a system whereby members of the public can get into touch at once with a doctor in the event of emergency by such a method as dialling DOC or some such easy code.
Dr. HillSome such system would be practicable if the doctors in the area arranged a central point to which calls could be made. If this were done the Post Office would of course co-operate, though a number of technical problems would have to be resolved.
