§ 11. Mr. J. Hyndasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies on what grounds the vessel "Le Cheval Noir" and its crew of four were ordered by the Immigration Officer at Port of Spain to leave the port within seven days of its arrival on 28th September, 1954, although Port of Spain is the home port of this vessel.
§ Mr. Lennox-Boyd:The vessel "Le Cheval Noir" was not ordered to leave the Colony. The crew of four were refused permission to enter the Colony in accordance with the decision of the Trinidad Government that no further representatives of the Watch Tower and Bible Tract Society should be permitted to enter the Colony for the reasons given in my right hon. Friend's reply to the hon. Member for Sunderland, North (Mr. Willey) on 9th March.
